Irvine: Life Skills for Pre-Teens
At The Etiquette Factory, we go beyond teaching surface-level behaviors, we focus on building strong character and lifelong social skills. Children don't just learn what to do, they learn why it matters. When a child understands how their actions impact others, manners become authentic, not forced.

Our exclusive program helps pre-teens develop strong manners, character, and essential social skills that shape both personal and future professional success. Students gain a deeper understanding of integrity, respect, empathy, and kindness, and how these values influence the way they interact with the world.

Through engaging, interactive lessons, pre-teens build confidence, improve communication, and learn how to navigate real-life situations with thoughtfulness and self-awareness. Topics include introductions, dining etiquette, handling peer pressure, valuing yourself and others, acts of kindness, social media awareness, and more.

This program empowers students to make positive choices, build meaningful relationships, and grow into confident, respectful individuals.

Class Presented by
Linda Richardson
Hello! My name is Linda Richardson and I’m very excited to teach etiquette skills to your child.
I have a bachelor’s degree in Communications and two adult children of my own. I’ve enjoyed working with kids most of my adult life, whether in the classroom as Room Mom, PTA board member running programs for the kids, as a Scout Leader or as a Team Mom. Now that mine are grown, I’m excited to join the team at The Etiquette Factory. We define manners as helping those around you feel valued. It’s my goal to help each child gain the self-confidence to navigate life in a meaningful way that includes showing respect for themselves and others and developing meaningful friendships.
